About Reports
When interest-holders develop a shared understanding and commitment to the goals and expectations of the community schools strategy, and fully commit to the strategy, they can work together towards realizing their common vision. Shared understanding and commitment promotes collaboration, support for change, transparency and democratic values.
Year End Reflection Reports
The year-end reflection report serves as both a look back at each year and a strategic guide for the future, assessing our progress toward transformational goals by highlighting key successes (“glows”) and areas for growth (“grows”). To provide context, we begin with an overview of who we as an S-TAC are, how we collaborate, and the process used to develop this report. Beyond reflection, the report ensures coherence and alignment as the CCSPP work expands, helping to evaluate progress, inform improvements, and guide strategic planning. It reinforces collaboration among multiple partners, strengthens technical assistance efforts across the state, and enhances the use of core resources such as the Digital Commons. Ultimately, this report solidifies the foundation for future efforts while ensuring that all initiatives remain strategically aligned.
California Community School Partnership Program (CCSPP) Annual Progress Report
The Annual Progress Report (APR) for the California Community Schools Partnership Program (CCSPP) serves as a tool to assess implementation efforts, and to encourage reflection as part of an ongoing process of continuous improvement.
California Community School Partnership Program (CCSPP) Annual Progress Report Year 1 and Year 2 Data Visualization
In our role as the S-TAC data lead, we created interactive data visualizations using Annual Progress Report data from the 2022-2023 and 2023-2024 school years. Grantees can explore APR data related to many dimensions of community schooling including the CCSPP capacity building strategies and whole child and family supports.
Deep Dive Strategy Reports
Deep Dives are an in-depth exploration of community school implementation, partnering with three implementation grantees to capture a “vertical slice” of the system—from practice to policy levels (e.g., schools to R-TAC). This approach provides a systems-level understanding of CCSPP implementation while building evaluative and collective capacity for improvement and transformation. As part of the S-TAC’s methodology, Deep Dives offer reciprocal learning opportunities by directly supporting schools in their transition to community schools. This support includes:
- Data Systems and Evaluation – Strengthening the use of data to inform decisions.
- Service Integration – Enhancing support systems within schools.
- Community Engagement – Improving processes for meaningful collaboration.
- Continuous Improvement – Establishing cycles of learning and adaptation.
